Job description

The Regional Director is a leadership role that leads the execution of the corporate strategy through operations management, business development and technical leadership to the respective territory with expectations of achieving profitability and customer satisfaction performance goals in line with company vision and key results areas. This includes business development, marketing, project management, quality management and resource management.

Responsibilities

Key Result Area: Operations Management & People Leadership

  • Execute functional leadership within the regional team that can translate the vision and create action plans to execute on vision.
  • Manage a billing resource allocation and projected utilization plan. 
  • Manage AMS operations in region. 
  • Retain the appropriate resources (quantity and skill) to manage projects to their maximum efficiency and profitability and provide professional customer service levels to performance targets. 
  • Demonstrate clear commitment to customer service with frequent, formal reviews with clients. 
  • Ensure that all client proposals are accurate regarding staffing levels, fee-to-cost ratio and scope of delivery capability. 
  • Provide timely, motivating and accurate Performance Management reviews to agreed company process and timelines and utilize this process to manage retention and attrition. 
  • Provide continual leadership and coaching to your team, ensuring delivery of key performance indicators, personal development objectives, clear communication and achievement of career objectives. 
  • Identify and plan employee training and development requirements to meet delivery excellence standards and performance targets. 
  • Effectively collaborate across regional leads to progress corporate objectives and maximize performance globally. 
  • Influence Strategic Technology Partnership(s). 
  • Utilize deep technical knowledge to drive best practices across technical team. 
  • Work across technologies to offer full manufacturing solutions. 
  • Govern the service delivery processes and methodologies to ensure playbook disciplines and best practices are instituted. 
  • Provides Mentoring
    • Provide general leadership to DHRUV team in areas of expertise
    • Assist with mentoring consultants in the area of competence 
    • Other Duties, as assigned on a case-by-case basis. This may require assisting other regions from time to time.

Key Result Area: Customer Satisfaction and Delivery Excellence

  • Lead strategic workshops for customers and actively contribute to the global leadership team. 
  • Contribute to projects in direct billing capacities on as-needed basis (anticipated in first year of operation). 
  • Demonstrate clear commitment to customer service with frequent formal reviews with clients. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and manage the fulfilment of Service Level Agreements, Budgets and Timeline expectations. 
  • Manage and resolve project escalations. 
  • Execute and collaboratively improve the playbooks for the Dhruv Delivery Models and AMS operations. 
  • Manage employee productivity and billable utilization to meet company and regional performance targets. 
  • Attend client sites, when required, either for direct billing purposes, resource management or business development. 

Key Result Area: Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify and nurture prospective opportunities in the region.
  • Actively assist sales team with brand awareness, promotional events, and market development activity to generate leads and identify/qualify opportunities. 
  • Contribute to promotional and educational content (whitepapers, webinars, etc.) used internally and externally to promote Dhruv’s expertise and drive business opportunities. 
  • Participate in Go-To-Market activities – attend seminars, conferences, and events to promote company’s business. 
  • Evaluate new opportunities, manage leads, work on proposals, submissions, and bids. 

Travel Required

  • Should be prepared to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Travel required based on:
    • Customer or Sales Opportunity requirements
    • Event Schedules

Certifications

  • MESA International Certificate of Competency (CoC) for MES/MOM Methodologies

Application Accountability

  • Understand key activities required to successfully deploy Opcenter in order to effectively manage the delivery team’s activity and dependencies between deliverables.
  • Ability to provide functional leadership for Camstar/Opcenter-related implementation activities.

    • Designer (Professional)
    • Solution Architect

Experience / Qualifications

Experience:

Required:

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in leading complex initiatives 
  • 5 – 7 years in a consultative role working with clients 
  • 5 – 7 years of direct manufacturing or other functional experience in a manufacturing company (IE, Process Engr., Mfg Engr, etc.) 
  • Demonstrated knowledge in solution components, software design and development methodologies 
  • Experience with Software Quality, Validation and/or Verification processes 
  • Experience with Opcenter / Camstar MES deployments 
  • Familiarity with relational databases 

Preferred:  

  • Experience with Medical, Semi-suite and Electronics versions of Opcenter
  • Experience with PLM systems, ERP, LIMS systems, and/or QMS systems 
  • Experience with Equipment Integration, SCADA, and/or Automation 
  • Foundational understanding of Mfg Intelligence needs 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (or the equivalent experience) plus a minimum of ten years related experience and five years in a leadership capacity.
